So I've looked at the math a bajillion times and it turns out I can afford to buy myself a new iPod on Friday.

It will be my fourth iPod in two years.

I am going to have to superglue it to my body, you guys.

But I really want one.

The first one bounced out of my pocket while I was running across the street and the hard drive broke, the second one bounced out of my backpack while I was... hiking, I guess, and I never found it, the third one bounced out of my pocket while I was running for the bus and someone picked it up in the twenty second between me losing it and me realising I lost it. I've just had a lot of iPod-related tragedy, okay! Luckily the second one was a free replacement for the first one so technically I've only bought two iPods, but still.

i've had three. i paid for one out of my pocket, used soem of my scholarship money for the second and won the third. mind you the third was a shuffle, but winning = super cool.

I bought my first, got my second free from Apple as a replacement for my first, and then bought my third, and I will now be buying my fourth... I think that'll make it $800 I've given to Apple for the privilege of renting an iPod for less than a year total...
